We just saw Magical Fantasy come from behind off of a relatively slow pace 48.1 ? On the grass in So. Cal and NY the slower the pace usually favors the closers. The reason is because our turf racing is predominately European horses. I won the Ramona Handicap from 10 lenghts off the pace with her; this race is now the John C. Freddie Head was quoted as saying she might be better than Miesque, WOW!. I think she is one of the best fillies I have seen run! Which is ironic because the last two years we have been blessed with seeing four of the best fillies I have seen! Mr. Jess Jackson, as much of a sportsman as he appears to be will not bring Rachel to Santa Anita for the Breeders Cup. I do not know for sure but I would have to guess that it is because of Curlin"s performance on the synthetic track last year. In saying this, there is a chance that they could meet at Churchill Downs in The Clark Handicap against the boys after The Breeders Cup!<br />I look forward to your comments and opinions.
